Marcelino was an exchange student that lived with us my Junior year (maybe Senior?). He was from Costa Rica. My mom, Mary Louise Newman, visited Marcelino and his family several years back and he was married and had children and was doing fine. I believe mom said he was an engineer. Mom is now in a nursing home in Vandalia IL and I don't know where her address book is so I can not give you a current address for Marcelino.

Hello class of CTHS 66!
After I left Carmi, I graduate as a geologist at the University of Costa Rica, and later I did my master s in hydrogeology at the University of London, England.

I retire as a professor of the University of Costa Rica some years ago, and since then, I do some consultancy, in ground water and environmental projects, in my country Costa Rica and Central and South America.

I am married to Yolanda Benavides and have two daughters, María del Pilar (Pili, 30) married to Willy and Ana María (Ani, 27), and a grandson Ignacio (11 months old, son of Pili).

I am attaching a photograph of my family.
Best wishes in the 45th class reunion on October 2011.

Best regards,
Marcelino.
