I have been retired from teaching first grade for nine years. I love my retirement. My husband is still President of The First National Bank of Allendale and Mt. Carmel. He is going to retire in June of 2016. Our oldest son, Ben, is a pathologist, and his wife is a family practice physician. They have our three grandchildren, Oliver, Ian, and Amelia. Our youngest son, Phil, started a new job last November as the maintenance supervisor at the bank. We will have been married 45 years on June 20, 2015. Both of my parents are now deceased, so we don't get to Carmi very often anymore.
