What a joy it is to look back on the great day's spent in Carmi and to see all the wonderful people who touched our lives in so many different ways.

I moved to Springfield, ILL. in 1967, met my husband there and he was offered a job in Dallas Texas with Exxon in 1979 and we were on our way. I found a job as office mgr. for Oshman's Sporting Goods and worked my way up to Store Mgr. I was with them for 17yrs.

My D.M. left Oshman's to become Regional Mgr. for Barnes and Noble Bookstore and ask me to come along. I did and became a Store Mgr. I enjoyed every minute of my time with them. I had a Starbuck's Coffee Shop and a music store within the book store.

I went to Richland College in 1998 to become a Certified Medical Assistant and recieved my license in
2000 and started working for a wonderful Doctor. I was also on the Board of Richland College and do volunteer work for people who have come to the United States for a better life and want to learn how to speak English and read and write.

I long to come back to Carmi and start a business. I miss the small town atmoshere and of course my brothers, sisters,neices and nephews, especially my beloved Mother, and COLD weather.

I remember so many of my classmates and would love to see everyone. Please if anyone remembers me I would love to hear from you. E-mail me and tell me what you have been doing. (sorry this is so long)
